So, finally it has started with a bang, The COMMONWEALTH GAMES 2010 , Delhi. It has been proud moment for our country, INDIA, to host such a prestigious event as commonwealth games in which athletes from several countries around the world compete each other at very high standard level.
Commonwealth games is the second largest event after OLYMPICS to host so many games and sports with thousand of participants toilinng to make their country proud.
The opening ceremony of the common wealth games 2010 was a hilarious event. More than 7000 classical dancers performing simultaneously in the same arena, is , in itself, an astonishing fact.
It was very colorful and mesmerizing giving a glimpse of rich and diverse Indian culture and traditions. Folk dancers from every sect of Indian territory were invited to perform giving the opening ceremony of the common wealth games a unique taste.
Truly it once again exemplified why India is said to have , "Unity In Diversity".
